NetSuite sandbox refreshes will also be “quicker and more predictive,” he said. “More than 95 percent of sandbox refreshes will complete in one day.” Among the changes that support enhancing performance will be the addition of six data centers over the next months. The company has six centers in operations and will open new ones in London, England; Frankfurt, Germany; Tokyo, Japan; Sydney Australia; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Washington. The software vendor is also increasingly tailoring the product to the needs of users. “We are building experiences which are optimized for the person using the product,” said Paul Farrell, Oracle NetSuite’s SVP of product marketing. “The system is intelligently optimized as to how you use it.” The new data centers will support an increased emphasis on international operations. New to the software is global trade enablement for intercompany trade business processes; a SuiteTax API for complying with tax requirements across the globe; and a foreign currency expense report for automatically reimbursing employees in a local currency. Also new is Installments that can schedule payment data arrangements, along with capabilities that adhere to local rules.
