And when a call with Ehmen was cancelled to be replaced a week later with one with Ehmen and Taylor Macdonald, the thought grew.  That was actually going to be the subject of an advance story for Monday’s Sage Summit. A lot of stuff has seemed up the air with the increasing prominence of Intacct and the U.S. in Sage global operations. Robert Reid, Intacct’s managing director, went on the Sage executive committee in the last year. In the last month, Aaron Harris, Intacct’s chief technology officer, took on that role with the global company and also went on the executive committee, joining Blair Crump, president of Sage North America. At some point, Ron McMurtie, chief marketing officer, also went on the committee. Four Americans on the executive committee—this is the first time this country has had that much representation at corporate.
