She will be based in the sales tax company’s São Paulo office from which she will manage day-to-day operations in Brazil. This week, it said it has hired Manjula Muthukrishnan as managing director of India, based in Pune.  Almeida was COO for the TMF Group’s Americas business from September 2013 until taking the new job. She was with SAP’s São Paulo-based organization from 1997 through February 2009 and was sales operations manager and director from March 2004 until her departure. For the last 11 months, she was a strategic advisor for Socion Advisors, which works with social initiatives committed to resolving large-scale societal challenges. Muthukrishnan previously worked at HSBC for three years 10 months. From November 2017 through June 2018, she was head of digital engineering for commercial banking.
