Columbus, the Dynamics reseller and developer based in Denmark, has hired Chris Alagna as CEO of its slumping American operations. Alagna replaces Keld Jersild Olsen, who took over leadership in the North America in May 2015 and left in February after a string of financial results headed the wrong way.

For example, revenue here was down 11.3 percent for the first quarter ended March 31 and that has been the story for some time with 2018 revenue off 13.3 percent from 2017 Alganais a veteran of the Dynamics reseller world, his experience includes serving of director of business development for the former Iteration 2 from November 2006 through January 2009. That company was purchased by Hitachi and he was a VP for Hitachi Consulting from January 2009 through May 2012 and then was with the Business Solutions Group of Hitachi Solutions America until this month. He was a VP and later SVP at that company.
