NEW DYNAMICS GP PRICING COMING IN MAY

Microsoft has a new pricing schedule coming out in May for Dynamics GP 11, which features a great deal of rolling products together at one price in various bundles and suites. Officially, "Based on partner feedback we decided to make a few select changes to simplify the pricing model for Microsoft Dynamics GP, and with the upcoming launch of Microsoft Dynamics GP 11, the timing was right," said Errol Schoenfish, the Dynamics GP director of product management.
The plan rolls four modules into the Business Essentials Foundation Pack. Those are Field Level Security,  Account Level Security,  Electronic Banking Suite and Electronic Bank Management. The schedule also implements the elimination of FRx, which is being replaced by Management Reporter, which has two editions: Management Reporter Designer Users which is added to the BE and AM Foundation Packs at no additional charge. The A La Carte pricing for both packs is $1,000 per user and module-based licensing for both Professional and Standard Editions is $1,000 per user. Management Reporter Viewer Users gets be added into Dynamics Client for Office in both packs and the a la carte pricing for the professional and standard editions is $300 per user. Several modules were consolidated into suites whose components will no longer be sold individually. The results are the Manufacturing Suite ($6,500), Distribution Suite ($6,000), and the Risk Management, Integration and Customization Suites, which are each priced at  ($5,000). Enterprise reporting licenses get rolled into three SKUs. Those are the base pack ($15,000), Enterprise Reporting Designer ($2,000 per name user) and Enterprise Reporting Viewer User ($500 per named user).
