OPEN SYSTEMS HONORS RCG
Open Systems has named Response Computer Group as its top reseller for 2010 at the accounting software company's recent reseller conference in Las Vegas. RCG, whose owner and founder is Randy Ennis, sells the vendor's Open Systems Accounting Software and Traverse applications. Open Systems has been very quiet.
This week's press release announcing the VAR award was the first it had issued since it launched Open Systems v. 11 on November 11. There has been no follow up publicity about the software line, nor were there any press releases promoting the conference and no other news publicized from it. Having seen the BizNet release about Open Systems signing in September to distribute that company's product, I would suggest there have been some missed opportunities.
