Sage says there are more than 4,000 Accpac customers using the application. This is a big deal for Sage in terms of cutting the cost of developing for the 12 different payroll products that it now markets and some of these have multiple versions. Common Payroll utilizes what Sage has named the sData communication protocol for integrating payroll with all of Sage's ERP applications.
