SUGARCRM ADDS MOBILE, SOCIAL FEATURES
SugarCRM has added global, mobile and social features to its CRM suite, including a native iPhone application that the company says provides strong customization capabilities. Sugar Mobile for iPhone is available for all Professional and Enterprise Edition customers and can be downloaded from the Apple Appstore.
Free trials can be accessed from the iPhone application or at www.sugarcrm.com/freetrial. Sugar 6 adds support for a number of European languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian and for Chinese and Japanese and also supports local currencies. On the social side, a Twitter Connector enables users to monitor any Twitter stream from within the Sugar application. There is also an integration with Qonetext that lets users collaborate in any SugarCRM object via a single platform. Another enhancement is integration with Outlook 2010 and stronger support for all IMAP email protocol offerings, such as Gmail, and support for the Google Chrome Browser.
