DELTEK NAMES TOP VARS
Deltek has named this year’s Premier Partners, a selection that should be getting easier given the attrition in the company’s channel. Deltek says there are now more than 45 business partners, but the last time I looked the count is complicated by large vendors like Unisys. More interesting, is there is now a separate page for Premier Partners, which suggests the company wants to steer business to them.
In any event, the class this year is formed by the following: Acumen Advisors, Reston, Va.,; Aronson, Rockville, Md., Central Consulting Group, Minneapolis, Minn.; ITB Consulting, San Diego, Calif.; Kennedy Vomberg, Toronto, Ontario; NeoSystems, Vienna, Va.; Preferred Systems Solutions, Inc., Vienna, Va.; SCS Strategic Consulting Solutions, Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn.; SilverEdge Systems Software, Schaumburg, Ill.; and WJ Technologies, Herndon, Va. I have no clue about the impact of this. If I’m not at this level do I say “Great, if I work harder, I can obtain this benefit.” Or do I say, “Screw it. I’m screwed.”? No idea.
