This may combine two things no one has seen, at least not in a long time. One is that Syspro has signed a Dynamics reseller, in this case New York-based Dataccount. The other is that the vendor issued a press release about the enlistment. Syspro has picked up some bigger people, well, bigger meaning on the Bob Scott's Top 100 VAR list, but these were Sage VARs.

Dataccount sells Dynamics GP and the company's website note that it deals in the nonprofit, distribution and real estate market. It's also an IBM Business Partner. The company also offers its own Datagility suite that offers on-the-road and in-office sales entry that can run without GP. The company was founded in 1992 by Robert Frost, who had served as CFO of the Columbia University Business School, taking, I suppose, the road less traveled. The company has a nice offer for a free consulting session. But here's a hint guys, get the following expiration date for that offer off the home page:  "Promotional offer expires 8/1/10."
