SERENIC PROFITS WHILE REVS DIP

Serenic reported income of $12,024 for the first quarter ended May 31. And while that was a slim bottom line it represented a turnaround from a loss of  $114,701 a year earlier. That came as revenue fell to $2.7 million in the most recently ended quarter, down 1.6 percent from $2.75 million in last year's corresponding period. All numbers are reported in Canadian dollars. License sales grew by 25 percent over last year's first quarter with international licenses sales comprising 32 percent of the total. The company did not break out the dollar amounts in this category.
