ERP VARS EDGE INTO SUGAR AWARDS

sugarcrm_logoERP resellers that sell SugarCRM did not take home top awards from SugarCon, the conference being held this week in San Francisco. But since effort to enlist the accounting software crew is fairly new, they acquitted themselves well. (Does anyone convict themselves well? Hmm.)

Receiving a Top Performer Award in North America was Faye Business Systems Group of Woodland Hills, Calif., a Sage 100 and Intacct reseller, while Brainsell Technologies of Topfield, Mass., received a Most Valuable Player Award. Brainsell handles Acumatica, Peachtree Quantum, QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Sage 100, 300 and 500. Open Symbol of northeast Italy was the 2011 Partner of the Year and W Systems, of Ramsey, N.J., was Rookie of the Year having signed 20 customers since picking SugarCRM in November. Other North American Top Performers were Profiling Solutions of Atlanta, which also sells Sage's SalesLogix; Cynergy Solutions, Simi Valley, Calif.; OA Solutions of Vancouver, B.C.; ATCORE Systems, of Atlanta; Concentrix, an outsourcing company from Rochester, N.Y.; and ApexTwo of Deerfield, Ill. Also winning in the category was Technology Advisors, a Des Plaines, Ill.-based VAR that carries Dynamics CRM and SalesLogix; Highland Solutions of Chicago, Ill.; and Plus Consulting of Pittsburgh, Pa., which also carries SalesLogix, Dynamics CRM and Act. Each Top Performer had growth from 2010 to 2011 and at least $20,000 in new customer subscriptions. Other North American MVPs were Epicom of Austin, Texas; ATCORE Systems, and Levementum, a hosting company with offices in Chandler, Ariz., and Sydney, Australia.
