QURIUS TURNS TO LOSS

quriusQurius, a Dynamics reseller based in Belgium, swung to a loss for the first quarter ended March 31 compared to net income a year ago. That came as revenue for the most recently ended period fell by 13.2 percent. The company lost about $842,000 compared to earnings of roughly $1.4 million a year earlier. Revenue dropped to about $24 million. Numbers are translated from euros. The company blamed delays in major products for the downturn. Qurius also employed more quota carrying staff (presumably the meaning of fee earners) in all operations this replaced consultants and as a result the company expects higher margins this year.
