epicor logoEpicor has released version 12.9 of Prophet 21, its wholesale distribution ERP system. New modules include Customer Buying Trend Analysis that applies a series of Six Sigma statistical models to determine a distributor's customer/item combinations that have a proven, consistent buying pattern.

The system reports on which customer’s buying habits are trending up or down the fastest, and the resulting financial impact. The Demand Replenishment Planning module provides analytical tools to support purchasing stock now for long-term future requirements. The Rewards Program option allows distributors to reward their customers for buying targeted items. Incentive points and co-op reward are supported under the new version.
