NETSUITE AT ORACLE SHOW, BECAUSE?

Zach Nelson, NetSuiteThe NetSuite website proclaims "Larry's Two Companies Working Together to Help Global Companies Succeed." That's in reference to an executive session being presented by NetSuite's CEO Zach Nelson at Oracle OpenWorld on October 2. For anyone who needs a definition of Larry, that is Oracle chairman Larry Ellison and also founder and funder of NetSuite.
Nelson's session is designed to explore two-tier deployment of NetSuite at Oracle sites. The session is titled  "Oracle and NetSuite - Thriving in the Hybrid Cloud" and features a panel of Oracle customers that are already using NetSuite. Having NetSuite products co-exist with Tier 1 products has been a common NetSuite theme, although the company has also been hiring push further upstream in the financial market. But somehow the phrase "Working Together" suggests more could be coming. Wouldn't it be easier for NetSuite, for example, to utilize the Oracle sales force in the process rather than continuing to build its own enterprise sales force?  And wouldn't it be easier to sell the concept if there were more and stronger links between the two companies' products? There is nothing in the description that suggests this. But it's hard not to think about the advantages to both companies. Asked about the possibility of a deeper relationship, Nelson replied in an email, "You'll have to tune in then." I'd warn against reading too much into that comment.
