SWIFTPAGE UPDATES SALESLOGIX MOBILE Featured

John Oechsle, SwiftPageSwiftpage, which acquired SalesLogix and Act from Sage, has introduced new mobile apps and mobile pricing for SalesLogix. The company is offering the third generation of the SalesLogix Mobile platform1 and the accompanying app. SalesLogix Mobile 3.0 is offered in a mobile-only subscription option for $25 per user per month.

SalesLogix customers can also add mobile-only users for the same price or for $395 per-person for a perpetual license with no minimum user requirements. SwiftPage says the mobile interface has been completely redesigned for smartphones and tablets. The company made its announcements at the International Partner Conference in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, which interestingly enough, is Sage's HQ town. Swiftpage CEO John Oechsle described the company's strategy as "All-In on Mobile" and said it is following a mobile-first design approach for software. That includes accelerating mobile development plan to get apps to market more quickly. The app comes pre-configured with standardized workflows based on results from the company's next-generation CRM user study. Mobile-first design is rapidly becoming the standard for software development. Besides the fact that mobile demand is booming, the rationale is if a company can get features in an easy-to-use form on a mobile device, particularly smartphones, it can easily bring those features to full applications. This represents the best chance the software industry has for ending the software bloat that has dominated the desktop market for much of the last 20 years.
