ARMANINO BUYS ROSE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS Featured

Linda Rose, RoseASPAccounting firm Armanino has purchased Rose Business Solutions, a long-time Dynamics GP reseller. Owner Linda Rose sold the San Diego, Calif.-based operation to concentrate on RoseASP, which provides hosted cloud applications to Dynamics resellers and their customers. The terms were not disclosed. In explaining her decision, Rose said in a prepared statement, "My passion for the past several years has been building cloud brands and delivering cloud solutions through RoseASP."

RoseASP manages two brands – myGPcloud and goERPcloud – for Dynamics AX, GP, NAV, SL and CRM. Rose Business Solutions was founded in 1991; RoseASP in 2000. The deal marks the continuing move by Armanino in the top ranks of Dynamics resellers in the United States in terms of revenue. Armanino reported annual revenue of $55 million as submitted for this year's VAR Star selection. Rose Business was estimated at $4.5 million. This is the second time in the last two months the owner of a top Dynamics reseller has stepped away from the business. In December, Gary Artis, owner of Interdyn Artis, retired from day-to-day operations of his business, although he continues as chairman. Maybe we're seeing a generational change finally starting to occur in channel that has a lot of veterans who have been doing their jobs for a long, long time.
