NEW SUBSIDIARIES BUOY PRODWARE Featured

Prodware logoOperations of new subsidiaries in Spain, England and the Netherlands pushed sales of Paris, France-based Prodware Group higher last year. The Dynamics reseller, which is getting exposure in this country, showed revenue for 2013 was about $244.8 million, an increase of 23.1 percent over 2012. The company will issue  full 2013 results on March 20. Operations in the new countries reflect Prodware's acquisition of subsidiaries of the former Qurius, which left the market in financial distress. The result was that 48.5 percent of 2013 revenue came from outside France, compared to 29 percent in 2012.

In a prepared statement, Prodware said it was more selective in taking on new products, but also saw an acceleration of its subscription and Cloud based sales "to the detriment of the traditional sales of licenses; this evolution implies a better profitability for a smaller revenue volume." Prodware release the sales figures on February 14, but it seemed that every time I visited its website, until this week, parts were under construction. In January, the company noted the promising start for its CRM application store, which is being promoted by Microsoft. Microsoft is promoting the site in the United States for distributing products to the government and municipal market based on Dynamics CRM.
