Jewell also has another venture, AEC Business Solutions, in the early development stage. Acuity formed after the failed merger of Jewell & Associates and Innovative Solutions Group in 2010. They become Acumen Advisors and demerged early in 2012. Jewell then formed Acuity and Kevin O’Connor, who had owned ISG, forming Full Sail Partners. Stambaugh Ness is an accounting firm that offers traditional services, including tax preparation, assurance and payroll, along with outsourced accounting services and advisory services in the areas of risk assessment, fraud and business process assessment.

STAMBAUGH NESS BUYS ACUITY Featured
York, Pa.-based Stambaugh Ness Business Solutions has acquired Acuity Business Solutions of Reston, Va. Acuity will become a division of SNBS. Both firms are Deltek resellers. Acuity founder June Jewell will remain as a strategic advisor. The combined firm has staff in nine states and assumes Acuity’s position as a Deltek Premier Partner. When it was selected as a VAR Star for 2013, Acuity reported $4.1 million in annual revenue and a staff of 12. It had 13 as a part of the purchase and the combined operation with Acuity as a division employs 24.
