QBES INTEGRATES WITH QLIKVIEW Featured

Rob Lips, IntuitIntuit has integrated Qlikview with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. Intuit also says that it will integrate the newer Qlik Sense into future versions of QBES. The release from Qlik Technology says something that was not mentioned by Intuit when it discussed the introduction of Advanced Reporting for QBES, which is that Qlikview is powering the Intuit product. The new reporting tool is free to current users.

Qlik Technology describes the difference in its products as being that QlikView is for guided analytics and QlikSense is for self-service visualization. Intuit did not issue a press release either on the introduction of Advanced Reporting or the relationship with Qlik. The Qlik release quotes Rob Lips, VP and GM of QuickBooks Desktop as saying, "The Advanced Reporting tool adds significant value to our Enterprise users by enabling them to leverage all of their existing QuickBooks data, visualize it and explore the information freely." Intuit certainly has been showing a willingness to private label products from others in order to extend product lines or fill holes.
