A subsidiary of United Stationers, MBS sold AX and its own software line. Don't get comfortable with the PAX name—the company says it plans to rebrand in February. Pax was founded by CEO Thomas Ajspur and COO John Paulsen. Ajspur said in a prepared statement that was with the two acquisitions. "We come out of the gate day one as one of the largest Dynamics AX providers in the US, but with a startup, entrepreneurial spirit that will mobilize our growth exponentially and make this an exciting place to work." Ajspur was Microsoft Dynamics AX Sales Lead for North America at Avanade, where he worked for just over six years before joining PAX in December 2013. Paulsen was senior director at Avanade from August 2011 through September 2013 and before that had a 20-year career at Danish VAR Columbus. There's already some capital behind the company. Board member Mike St. John, owner of private equity firm LCS, is also an investor, according to his Linkedin page. The company has 18 job titles open, according to the PAX website, with many for multiple consultant positions.
