COLUMBUS NABS SHERWOOD SYSTEMS Featured

Sherwood SystemsInterDyn BMI, itself acquired by Columbus this year, has seen its parent purchase Sherwood Systems. The recent deal moves Minneapolis, Minn.-based BMI into the Southwestern United States. Founded in 1990, Phoenix, Ariz.-based Sherwood carries Dynamics GP and CRM. It is also one of 40 Source Code authorized Great Plains Solution Developers. Its head, Lee Sherwood, retired following the deal.

Interestingly, Sherwood also handles two time and billing programs—Time Matters, aimed largely at law firms, and Sage's venerable Timeslips. Sherwood's target markets include distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, not-for-profit, credit unions and aviation. The company says it has more than 300 customers. BMI ranked as No. 18 on the Bob Scott's Insights Top 100 VAR list for 2015 with $30 million in revenue. Sherwood had about $2.5 million in annual revenue.
