Are you ready for the 2016 campaign? Besides the red and blue states, there are now also the green states, representing those that are sick of the whole process. …. New Jersey has been declared a disaster area. It has nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy. It’s just on general principal.
… We’re already thinking about the Obama-Biden legacy in terms of great sayings in American history. “Give me liberty or give me death.” (Patrick Henry); “I have not yet begun to fight.” (John Paul Jones) “This is a b-f-d.” (Joe Biden). … The Christmas season has begun at the Gaylord Texan in Texas. But it was marred by protests against the hotels annual Elf Tossing contest… The hotel has a room devoted to decorating gingerbread. So I accepted an invitation and began throwing icing one the wall. “What are you doing?” one employee yelled. “I’m decorating. This is my Jackson Pollock technique.” … The hotel is offering children a chance to meet their favorite Dreamworks characters and have photographs taken. “Should I meet the Kung Fu Panda or Shrek?” one youngster asked his mother. I called out, “Take the Panda, kid. He can take the big green guy two out of three falls." There were Christmas trees at the entrance to the lobby that were dominated by big white balls. Well, what do you expect in Texas?
