Anthony WeinerSometimes statues emphasize a feature to help us remember famous people and what they are most famous for. It is not quite clear how to handle molding a statue of what made Anthony Weiner famous. But the randy New York Democratic politician is having an impact on popular culture. There's a new phrase entering the language, "to be a Weiner" which means not knowing to quit while you are ahead.

Weiner could inspire millions with that determination. He could replace the Energizer Bunny - "He just keeps going". However, the latest revelations of his texting have deflated his New York mayoral campaign, although it doesn't seem to have deflated him. ... When my wife and I visit Alaska this week we plan to visit the spots where the first accountants entered the New World via the land bridge from Asia. We'll also be visiting a developer who is preparing to issue v. 1.0 of Sled Dog Management for Dynamics SL (certainly a project-oriented application seems more suited than GP, NAV or AX.) ... Speaking of bridge, we want to see whether Sarah Palin's Bridge to nowhere is going somewhere. Scientists have transplanted false memories into the minds of mice. Not that's a goal we've all been dreaming about. Then again, that could be a step towards a very practical product. A lot of women would like to be able to take a pill that could do that after a lot of dates.
