Dynamic Communities, which hosts Summit conferences for Dynamics software users, has laid off staff. The report from industry sources came as the company welcomed John Siefert as its new CEO this week.

Rootstock, which markets cloud ERP software on the Salesforce Platform, has added KVP Business Solutions to its international channel. KVP will sell Rootstock in a number of foreign markets, including Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, France, and India.

Manufacturing software company Plex Systems has hired Nathan Pieri as group vice president of product management and product strategy. Pieri was most recently, chief product officer at Amber Road (now e2Open) from July 2014 through July 2019.
