Construction software company Viewpoint had revenue of $43.4 million for the first quarter ended March 31, an increase of 21.4 percent from $35.7 million a year earlier. The numbers were filed last month with the SEC by Trimble, which acquired Viewpoint in April.

AccountMate has started actively looking for new VARs again. The Petaluma, Calif.-based software company had largely put recruiting on hold while it came to market with its new Enterprise application recently, according to CEO David Dierke.

ECI Software Solutions has notified all U.S. and Canadian Macola resellers their contracts will expire. It’s clear ECI, which owns Macola, is dropping many domestic resellers, but is not clear yet what will take their place.

Columbus said this week it plans to utilize its January acquisition of Swedish iStone to take the Infor M3 (Lawson) product line global. The initiative is a major change for Columbus which had concentrated on the Dynamics line and its internally developed Columbus Software.
