Rootstock ERP is built on the Salesforce platform. Rootstock’s planning engine now interacts with the Sales Agreement and Account-Based Forecasting features in the Salesforce its Manufacturing Cloud. Rootstock says S&OP provides ERP visibility to sales teams with Rootstock Cloud ERP providing real-time updates on actual orders.  Rootstock’s planning engine “will consume and aggregate vetted data from the Account-Based Forecasting feature of Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud,” according to a company press release. The engine also consolidates ERP information from multiple systems in different locations on the Salesforce Platform. Rootstock also recently launched an ERP Connector between its cloud-based system Salesforce Field Service Lightning, which is also being demonstrated at Dreamforce. The connector enables users to create invoices with one click from work ordersand leverage a 360-degree view of costs.
