The feature provides a three-step approach for determining which bills need or do not need approval: Admin users create conditions for those that need approval; tasks are created and assigned to designated approvers for bills meeting those conditions; and Bills that meet the criteria are sent to approvers for action. Another new feature, role preview, enables an admin user to test out a new custom role before assigning it. Admins preview custom roles to ensure users can’t access sensitive information; verify users have access to the functions they need; and assign custom roles. Finally, desktop role migration speeds the migration of desktop users to QuickBooks Online Advanced. Previously performed manually, the assignment of roles and permissions are now automated in QBOA.
