In its prepared statement, Microsoft said, “our new xP&A solution provides access to a diverse range of customizable use cases and templates designed to address various financial requirements, facilitate a quick start for customers, and enable fast deployment.” The company said the scope of data encompasses cross-domain datasets, including supply chain, human resources and sales. The applications also present users with the “easily customizable experiences of Power BI and Excel.” Users can work within those environments “without extracting and transforming data from their ERP.” Microsoft said the xP&A software utilizes collaboration capabilities embedded in Teams and Dynamics 365 Copilot so that users of all skill levels can take advantage of the tools.
