Version 10 is described providing “deep distribution functionality and substantial enhancements to user experience, business intelligence enablement and connectivity to best in class solutions.” Infor says the interface is consumer grade while a Global search offers the same feel across the application. There is super grid technology to allow changes on the fly such as dynamic grouping, exporting, applying filters and drill-down visibility. Users can also create favorite views. Distribution enhancements include automating freight allocation to enable freight cost recovery, better tracking and managing of non-returnable, non-cancellable items and tools to compare estimated versus actual labor costs.
INFOR: MAJOR DISTRIBUTION SX.E UPDATE
Infor has introduced what it terms a major release Version 10.0 of Distribution SX.e. The software company says version 10 enables “social, mobile and analytics capabilities to the core enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.” The new version incorporates broader support for Infor ION, the company’s middleware system, and for Infor Ming.le, a social collaboration platform.
