A number of ACH, credit card payment, and batching options have also been enhanced and there are better and faster ways of handling and recording payments and receipts. Among other changes, the Inventory Control, Sales Order and Purchase Order modules have been enhanced for handling drop ship orders while standard cost is among supported cost methods. The physical inventory count process includes the option to Freeze Active or Inactive Items Only by adding inventory item filers to the Freeze Inventory function. V9 also improves Bin search by selecting the default bin used in transactions and how it filters and sorts the bins that will be displayed in the Bin Full and Leading Search windows.
ACCOUNTMATE SQL V9 RELEASED
AccountMate has released version 9 for SQL. The Petaluma, Calif.-based company said more than 100 key changes have been made system-wide. Among the enhancements is for Version 9 clients to take advantage of the GL features being developed in the upcoming .Net version, which means they will be able to continue using the Version 9 functionality or switch to the .Net GL. Version 9 added features such as shipping an item defaults to the bin with on-hand quantity.
