The shares are awarded under an executive compensation program. Reid, who is also chairman of the Sage Mid-Market Solutions Group is one of three Americans on the Sage Executive Committee. The others are Ron McMurtrie, chief marketing officer, and Aaron Harris, chief technology officer, and Blair Crump, president.

Robert Reid, EVP and managing director of Sage Intacct has sold shares in the Sage Group for about $2 million in gross proceeds. Reid sold 351,555 shares which were acquired through the vesting of restricted shares.
