The Alithya Group has acquired Travercent, a consulting firm specializing in implementing Oracle applications in the healthcare sector. The Montreal, Que.-based reseller paid $18 million in cash and Class A subordinate voting shares of Alithya.

Alithya owns the former Fullscope Dynamics reselling business and the former Ranzal Oracle operations. Travercent’s specialties include implementing Oracle’s cloud ERP, HCM, EPM and BI applications. It also markets its Capsure, an Oracle cloud extension for addressing complex supply chain use cases, cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integration, training tools and healthcare-specific business analytics. In a prepared statement, Alithya CEO Paul Raymond said, “The firm’s [Travercent’s] expertise with Oracle cloud technologies in the US healthcare sector is of particular strategic significance to us, given the importance of this technology and this business sector within our long-term business strategy.” Travercent was co-founded by Mike Feldman, a managing member of the firm, and Chad Sells, VP of sales and marketing. Based in Richardson, Texas, Travercent was founded 25 years ago.
