ROCKTON BUYS OLYMPIC SYSTEMS Featured

Rockton Software, based in Erie, Colo., has acquired Olympic Systems, a merger this week of two long-time ISV companies with products for Dynamics GP.  Olympic markets a project costing system called Project Cost.

Olympic also sells Exchange Rate Import, an extension to the Currency Management Module in Dynamics GP; Olympic Report Integration, an add-in for GP that integrates DevExpress Reporting with GP Rockton also markets products for Dynamics 365 and Rockton Pricing Management, which connects with any ERP system, and more recently expanded to support Acumatica via its Rockton Connect. Both Rockton and Olympic are long-time players in the GP channel. Rockwell is owned by president Mark Rockwell, who founded the company, in September 1999. Founded in 1990, Olympic, based in Seattle, Wash, became one of the first GP resellers in the Pacific Northwest in 1992.
