In his new role, Akerker heads worldwide sales, business development, customer success, and the technical enablement and business relationship with Acumatica partners and resellers. Acumatica noted the position is a newly created one. At Nauto, Akerkar was SVP of the worldwide fleet and insurance business from September 2017 through June 2020. At Microsoft, he was manager of sales excellence for worldwide enterprise sales from September 2014 through August 2016 and then VP of the global enterprise sector from August 2016 through September 2017.

Acumatica has hired Sanket Akerkar as chief revenue officer. Akerkar was most recently with Nauko, but he was employed for 14 years by Microsoft where he spent three years two months in enterprise sales.
