Netherlands-based Unit4 is being sold from one investment firm to another for about $2 billion.. Majority shareholder Advent International is selling its stake to private equity firm, TA Associates, which will take the majority ownership.
The Partners Group, a private markets firm is also investing. Management, including CEO Mike Ettling, will continue to operate the business. The transaction is expected to close during the summer. Advent acquired Unit4 in March 2014 for about $1.4 billion.
