ECI Software Solutions has introduced JobBoss², which the company says will be its go-forward cloud project for job shop and make-to-order manufacturers. The new product combines features from E2 Shop, which was part of ECI’s acquisition of Shoptech in the fourth quarter of last year, with JobBoss.

Fort Worth, Texas-based ECI owns three manufacturing products that once belonged to Exact. The others are Macola and Max. ECI says E2 Shop provided a cloud-native, user-friendly platform while JobBoss offered depth of functionality and flexibility. JobBoss², offers customizable features and workflows and what ECI describes as robust reporting and a streamlined user experience. This summer, the new application, which will be available May 17, will also integrate with Alora, a machine intelligence platform by Data Invention, which will connect obBoss², with real-time machine performance. Core modules are Estimating, Orders, Purchasing, Scheduling, Data Collection, Quality Control, Shipping and Accounting.
