Terms were not disclosed, but Sovos said it is the largest company purchase outside of the United States. Former Acepta CEO Alvaro Gonzalez, has become Sovos’ managing director for the Spanish-speaking Americas. Sovos also reported the deal brings it more than 3,000 customer companies in telecom, financial services, retail and other industries.

Sovos, which makes indirect tax software, has acquired Chile-based Acepta. Acepta markets e-invoicing, e-receipts, e-documents and digital certificate products in Chile, Peru and Colombia.
