SAP REVS UP 2 PERCENT IN 2021 Featured

SAP revenue rose by 2 percent for the year ended December 31 as the vendor’s numbers continue to show the rapid growth of cloud revenue while license and maintenance revenue fell.  

These are preliminary results with final numbers being released next week. The software giant’s after-tax profit rose by 2 percent to roughly $6.1 billion. That reflected the impact of an increase in stock-based compensation as non-IFS after tax profit increased by 28 percent. Revenue for the year was approximately $31,6 billion. SAP ended the year with about $9.1 million in revenue for the fourth quarter an increase of 6 percent. Support and maintenance revenue for the most recently year fell 3 percent to approximately $16.2 billion with cloud rising 17 percent to about $10.7 billion
