Based in the Netherlands, Protinus had 2022 revenue of approximately $310 million. Terms were not disclosed. It’s a big buy for Prodware, whose own revenue for 2022 was roughly $187.6 million. Protinus provides a wide range of IT products, including hardware, software and services and targets the public sector, including governmental organizations, along with health care. Prodware this week also reported that revenue for the first half ended June 30 reached roughly $114 million, a 23.8-percent increase over a year earlier. The revenue jump reflects the March acquisition of Westpole. Without Westpole’s revenue, increase was 4.9 percent. Earnings for the most recently ended period were approximately $9.4 million more than double a year earlier. Prodware cited strong performance in Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. Revenue outside of French-speaking areas was about $71 million or 62.3 percent of first-half revenue. That compares to international revenue representing 50.3 percent of revenue in last year’s corresponding period.
Prodware, a Sage and Dynamics reseller based in France, has acquired Protinus IT.
