Acumatica said the funding would enable it to expand sales and marketing efforts while developing its technology platform. It will also get a boost from Nordic-based Visma in sales and marketing of the software in the Nordic countries. "We will adapt Acumatica for the Nordic markets and distribute Acumatica to our tens of thousands of midsized customers in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and The Netherlands,”says Visma CEO Øystein Moan.
ACUMATICA GETS FUNDING
Acumatica, which provides cloud-based ERP software, has received funding in a round led by Visma, a portfolio company of an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. The amount of funding was not disclosed. This is a second round of funding. The first was led by Almaz Capital.
