At FinancialForce, Roche was replaced by Tod Nielsen, a former Salesforce executive, at the beginning of the month. Unit4 is a minority investor in FinancialForce with Salesforce as a majority owner. The software company itself is owned by Vista Equity Partners. Unit4 said in a prepared statement that in Roche's new position, "He will use his experience to accelerate the cloud transition for Unit4 customers, delivering product innovation and rapid time to value."

Jeremy Roche, founder and former CEO of FinancialForce, has joined Unit4. Roche has become chief product officer of the Netherlands based company which was an investor in FinancialForce when it was launched in 2009. Roche takes over from Ivo Totev. The hiring is one of a series of high-level executive moves under Stephen Sieber, who became CEO in April.
