The Georgia Center opened in Lawrenceville, Ga., and then moved to midtown Atlanta when the company moved its North American headquarters there in October 2015. Since then, no more have been announced although it put Peter Biber in charge of the program. Now, the peculiar thing was during the recent Sage Summit conference, the centers were not officially mentioned. Now GoogleMaps shows the Sage facility and the Georgia World Congress Center where Summit was held, are 18 minutes apart by car. In previous conferences I have attended, where a company was near a new headquarters, it offered tours of the facility. Not a word. Okay so maybe since so many things were disorganized during the conference, Sage just didn't get around to this. Sage had enough trouble getting the press registered. I have an inquiry into the company through public relations to talk about the centers. However, Atlanta triggered a thought. The downtown is home of the Atlanta Apparel Mart and in 1984, there were plans to open a computer mart. High-valued real estate turned not to be a good way to sell PCs in those days. So....
