SALES SVP ARNTZ LEAVES NETSUITE Featured

Mike Arntz, NetSuiteMike Arntz, SVP of Sales for the Americas, has left cloud software vendor NetSuite to become SVP of worldwide field operations at Smartsheet. Arntz's departure was followed quickly by an announcement that Sam Levy had moved from the job of VP of sales to VP of sales for the Americas for NetSuite.

NetSuite says in the former job, he was responsible for sales in manufacturing and wholesale distribution. Levy joined NetSuite in October 2013 after spending a year with KeyedIn Solutions as SVP sales and COO. We may see more of this as Oracle tries to close the deal to buy NetSuite. Because Oracle needs a majority of non-affiliated shareholders to tender NetSuite shares and that did not happen by the original deadline, Oracle extended the deadline for the tender offer to November 4, the second extension. Maybe Arntz didn't want to go back to work for Oracle, the homeland or many NetSuite executives. He worked there from June 1994 through September 2013. In his last three years four months at Oracle, Arntz held the title of group VP of North America application sales and midmarket accounts.
