SWK SNAGS $1.1M X3 DEAL Featured

Mark Meller, SilverSun TechnologiesSWK Technologies has closed on an X3 sale worth more than $1.1 million. The deal was announced by SWK's parent, SilverSun Technologies, and shows the potential for SWK to end 2013 with a real boom in revenue. The amount covers software and consulting services with the customer described as an international footwear manufacturer. SilverSun CEO Mark Meller  said in a prepared statement that the previous record for deal was $700,000 for the company's first X3 transaction in 2012.

Before taking on X3, the largest deal for the Livingston, N.J.-based Sage reseller was $300,000. For the nine months ended September 30, SilverSun, whose revenue is totally from SWK, had sales of $12.3 million. Revenue for 2012 was $13.2 million so it looks like the company should easily clear $15 million. The terms of the new deal weren't spelled out but we'd have to assume recognition of the revenue will be spread out.
