The Movies channel was heavy on horror firms in the lead up to Halloween. One frequent play was the original, “Night of the Living Dead”, the first known appearance of Scientologists.

Then in a series of flicks about the grand-daddy of monsterdom, was the little known “Frankenstein Stymied”, the baron is defeated in his latest attempts, trying to reanimate fortunes of the football Giants and Jets. And finally, was the later in life, “Count Dracula, Orthodonist”, in which the original batman puts his skills to work with the first all-night, Dracula practice; starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in part of their long-running partnership. It's a shame that Lee, who died in 2015 was never signed as a spokesman for Visine, given those bloodshot eyes. … With the Washington Nationals winning the World Series in dramatic fashion in seven games, we about 360 days before we see anything resembling great excitement in baseball again. ...
