Depending on which version of the calendar you follow, we just had National Accounting Day. Shoot, I forgot to send out my cards this year. I have one for next year: “May your life be as balanced as your accounts.”

The company has finished the update and plans a final test flight. The final stumbling block was figuring out how to assure Mario could rescue Princess Peach every time. … President Trump says he doesn’t want war with Iran despite the hawkishness of some of his advisors. The saying for President Woodrow Wilson’s re-election campaign in 1916 was “He Kept Us Out of War”. Trump may be able to run on the slogan, “He Saved Us from John Bolton”. Given the thinking that seems to be behind those who want a conflict Iran, I think they’ve been working to much with a noted naval officer, Captain Morgan. … Former basketball great Dennis Rodman is being accused of stealing a 400-pound amethyst crystal and about $3,500 in merchandise from a yoga studio. They dropped the crystal, shattering it, which allegedly caused $5,000 in damage to the shop’s floor. Rodman claims he was offered a gift and while police are investigating, no charges have been filed. Who could possibly conceive of Rodman being involved in some hare-brained scheme? Or given the state of the rebounder’s coiffure, perhaps hair-brained is also appropriate. Maybe Rodman can flee to North Korea for sanctuary.
