Previously integrated with Intacct, the Budgeta-based product synchronizes bidirectionally with Intacct, utilizing the same chart of accounts and all dimensions. Dan Miller, Intacct’s VP of products, noted his company believes there is a “significant market opportunity” of Budgeting and Planning. The application features includes spreadsheet-style formulas, a drag-and drop-user interface and a library of best practices and sample reports.

Sage has introduced Sage Intacct Budgeting and Planning, a product stemming from the company’s acquisition of Budgeta this year. It is in limited released and expected to be generally available in the fourth quarter.
