The integration is accomplished via a Connector between Anywhere and the construction applications. The newest features include the ability to collect, review, and approve employee time worked on projects via mobile devices. Anywhere utilizes secure web services for connections between servers and mobile while each customer is assigned a dedicated secure site. Sage's website does not use the term, but this sounds like what is usually termed a portal on the traditional tax and accounting side, a concept that is standard enough it might be good to use it for those that understand and explain it for those that don't.
SAGE INTEGRATES CONSTRUCTION APPS
Sage has integrated its cloud-based Sage Construction Anywhere with Sage 100 Contractor, the former Master Builder. Officially, Construction Anywhere is described as a collaboration tool for construction projects which was already integrated with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, the former Timberline Office, which is designed for communication and project reporting between the office and the field.
