The last job reported on Bryant's LinkedIn site was the position as director of technical services for Intacct from June 2013 through July 2014. Before that, he was with Sage from January 2004 through August 2011. In his last position, he was SVP, ISV and developer relations. Bryant was probably best known for his role as CEO of Macabe Associates, a position he held from January 1983 through January 2004. Macabe acquired the Sage extended library and then continued to publish Sage enhancements until its purchase by SWK Technologies in October 2015.

Alan Bryant, who headed Sage ISV The Macabe Associates for many years, has died. Peyton Burch, Intacct's senior director of channel sales, was part of the Sage channel for many years. He described Bryant's death this week as a "Devastating loss of one of the truly great people in our industry."
